Websites that win customers for Sea to Sky businesses

I'm Alysia Lynn, a senior software engineer and part-time web designer based in Squamish. I design and build custom websites that load fast, rank on Google, and welcome every visitor, for businesses from downtown Squamish to Whistler and Vancouver.

Why work with me

Accessible by default

Every site is built to WCAG standards: keyboard navigable, screen-reader friendly, and readable by everyone.

Local to Squamish

Based in Squamish, serving the Sea to Sky corridor. Meet over coffee, not a ticketing system.

Process

From first coffee to launch day

  1. Discover

We talk about your business, your customers, and what the website needs to do. You get a clear scope and a fixed quote.

  2. Design

You see real designs of your actual pages and we refine them together before a line of code is written.

  3. Build

The approved design becomes a fast, accessible, search-ready website. You can watch progress on a live preview link.

  4. Launch and grow

Launch day is handled end to end: domain, hosting, analytics, and Google Search Console. Then the site keeps earning.

FAQ

Questions businesses ask me

How much does a website cost?
Every quote is fixed-price and based on scope. A focused small-business site and a multi-section site with e-commerce are very different projects, so the first step is a short conversation about what you need. You will always know the full price before we start.
How long does a website take?
Most small-business sites take four to eight weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on scope and how quickly content and photography come together.
Do you only work with businesses in Squamish?
Squamish and the Sea to Sky corridor are home base, and local businesses get the benefit of meeting in person. That said, the whole process works remotely, and clients elsewhere in BC and Canada are welcome.
Will I be able to update the site myself?
That depends on what you want. Some clients want a content management system they can edit; others prefer a care plan where updates are handled for them. Both are options, and we will pick the one that fits how you work.
What makes your sites different from a Squarespace or Wix template?
Templates are a fine starting point for some businesses, and if that is all you need, I will tell you. A custom site earns its keep with speed, search rankings, accessibility, and a design that matches your business instead of constraining it. Those are engineering problems, and engineering is my background.
